Hitboxes — Wiki
Where a player can be hit, what each part takes, and how much of you shows over cover.
Bullets hit a set of shapes that follow the player's body as it moves. Both sides have exactly the same hitboxes, whatever the uniform.
The player below is the game's own model, standing still, coloured by the damage each part takes from most guns. A shot counts as the part of these shapes it hits, and each gun's page shows the same picture with its own numbers.
Damage zones
The part a bullet hits sets its damage: the weapon's damage times the zone's multiplier. Each weapon's page has its own numbers.
| Zone | Most weapons | Weapons that differ |

| Head | ×2 | M1 Carbine and Gewehr 43 ×4; STG 44 ×3.9; BAR ×3.5; Thompson and MP 40 ×1.8; Trench Gun and M1 Garand ×1.5 |
| Neck | ×1.5 | M1 Carbine and Gewehr 43 ×2; Grease Gun, Thompson, MP 28 and MP 40 ×1.4; M1 Garand ×1.09 |
| Chest and shoulders | ×1 | none |
| Stomach and hips | ×1 | none |
| Upper arms | ×1 | none |

The knife kills wherever it hits.
Height and cover
How tall you are to a bullet in each stance, standing still, and the cover you need. Heights are from the floor.
| Standing | Crouched | Prone | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top of your head | 2.18 m | 1.57 m | 0.63 m |
| Your eyes (where you shoot from) | 2.02 m | 1.38 m | 0.41 m |
| Bottom of your head | 1.82 m | 1.21 m | 0.27 m |
| Top of the rest of you | 1.9 m | 1.32 m | 0.51 m |
| Cover that hides you completely | 2.18 m | 1.57 m | 0.63 m |
| Cover that shows only your head | 1.9 m | 1.32 m | 0.51 m |
| Highest cover you can see and shoot over | 2.02 m | 1.38 m | 0.41 m |
Standing or crouched, cover between your eyes and the top of your head lets you shoot over it with only the top of your head showing.
Prone, your eyes are lower than your back: cover low enough to shoot over leaves your body showing too.
Crouching takes 0.2 s and standing up 0.2 s. Prone goes through a crouch: going prone from standing takes 0.6 s and getting up 0.6 s (0.4 s each way from a crouch). More on stances in Health and movement and Hidden rules; how the server checks a hit in How hits register.
