Maps in 3D — Wiki
Every ranked map in 3D, in your browser: turn it round, or walk it as a player.
Every ranked map as the game builds it, in your browser: turn it round from above, or walk through it from where your side starts. Open one from its map page, under "In 3D". A map is a few megabytes, so it loads only when you ask.

Orbit
The view it opens in: the whole map from the air.
Drag to turn the map, right-drag (or two fingers) to move along it, and scroll (or pinch) to zoom.
The arrow keys move the view too.
From above looks straight down, as the minimap does. Reset view goes back to the start.
Walk
Stand in the map as a player and walk it. Walk puts you where the attackers start; the two side buttons move you to either side's spawn. Click the view to start. The keys are the game's own:
W A S D to walk and the mouse to look round.
Left Shift to run (press once; it stops when you stop going forward), C to crouch (press again to stand; or hold Ctrl), Space to jump.
Esc gives you your mouse back. Orbit goes back to the view from the air.
You move as the game moves you:
Your size: 87.4 cm wide and 2.16 m tall (1.5 m crouched), your eyes 2.02 m above the floor (1.38 m crouched).
Your speed: 4.75 m/s walking, 7.12 m/s running, 3.09 m/s crouched, as with a gun that doesn't change it. You reach full speed in 0.12 s and stop in about 0.26 s.
Jumps and falls: a jump lifts your feet 1.09 m and lands 0.67 s later; you fall at 19.6 m/s2, twice the Earth's. Slopes up to 46 degrees are floors, and you walk up steps up to 45 cm.
You walk on the 3D model itself. It's the game's map, simplified: the game's invisible walls aren't in it, so you can walk where players can't, and some small things players bump into are left out. Trees don't stop you.
Walking needs a mouse and keyboard, so it isn't offered on phones and tablets.
What it shows
Wallbangs: every surface a bullet can go through, coloured by how much damage gets through: thin (the most), normal, and thick (the least), as on each map's wallbang plan. Hover one to see its kind. More on Wallbangs and collaterals.
Bomb sites: the boxes you can plant in, with their letters.
The model is the game's own, simplified: small props and scenery far outside the map are left out, and every surface is one flat colour.
