Getting to the sites

Liberation routes

The shortest way from where each side starts to each site, and between the sites, timed from the round going live to reaching the site's edge.

RouteDistanceSprintingRunning
Attackers to A114 m16 s22.8–23.6 s
Attackers to B88 m12.4 s17.7–18.3 s
Defenders to A60 m8.4 s12–12.4 s
Defenders to B55 m7.7 s11–11.4 s
A to B70 m9.9 s14.1–14.5 s

Sprinting, the defenders reach A 7.6 s and B 4.7 s before the attackers can. Running is with the fastest primaries (the submachine guns and the Trench Gun) to the slowest (the bolt-action rifles); you sprint at the same speed with any weapon. A drop, a jump or a ladder can be quicker than these.

Wallbangs

Liberation wallbangs

406 surfaces on Liberation can be shot through: 182 thin, 151 normal and 73 thick. A bullet keeps part of its damage going through one of them (see Wallbangs and collaterals), and none at all through a second. The plan shows them from above, apart from the thinnest poles and posts and the scenery outside the playable area.

In 3D

Turn Liberation round in your browser, with every surface a bullet can go through and the bomb sites, or Walk it from your spawn as a player, at the game's own size, speeds and gravity. More on Maps in 3D.
